Solidworks

SolidWorks is a complete 3D Modeling Software and CAD Product Design solution.

My main project was to design an Arduino-MEGA case as optimized as possible. You can find the result of my work right underneath.

I show you here an animated GIF file with the exploded view from the Arduino-case and other components I added to the model to make it more realistic.

Altium Designer

Altium Designer is a PCB and electronic design automation software package for printed circuit boards.

My final aim working with Altium is to design a PCB to fit in a meter box to record power use in a building. I'm still on the way to achieve it, so the work I will show next are parts of the main project, didn't finish yet.

These are the Schematic and the 3D-PCB-Layout-Mode from the GPRS module I'm going to use in the project.'

These are the 3D models from some of the elements I will integrate in the final PCB.

Surface-mount technology (SMT) is a method for producing electronic circuits in which the components are mounted or placed directly onto the surface of printed circuit boards (PCBs). An electronic device so made is called a surface-mount device (SMD). In industry it has largely replaced the through-hole technology construction method due to the available miniaturization and time production reduction.

We did some practise first with a small PCB with different size components, just to get confidence with the tweezers and control our pulse. After this, we started to solder the components for a Seat Ibiza break light. The results are below.

After getting known with the soldering iron, we built the break light from the Seat Ibiza, shown below.

I'm a 4th-year-student of Telecommunications Engineering and I applied for the course "Impressed Circuit Technology - TCI" this first semester 2017/18.
