Course Description

Dr. Paul Eisler patented the PCB in 1943, since then there have been countless technological advancements have allowed a reduction in size of electronic products. The increased density of components per unit area and the number of layers in the PCB allows daily increase the complexity and functionality of the new electronic designs.

These improvements result in the necessary search for new technologies that meet market needs. Obviously a detailed knowledge of these technologies to perform tailored to the requirements imposed by these designs is required.

In this course, the student can move into this exciting world of manufacturing technology from the analysis to the pre-production unit of an electronic products, from its conception to the end of its life cycle.
